Adam began his transportation career as a UPS delivery driver while in college. There he received a B.S. degree in finance. After graduation he spent 19 years with Schneider National Carriers in various leadership roles with operations, sales, and maintenance. In 2013 he entered the entrepreneurial world and became a FedEx P&D contractor with 5 trucks and 4 routes. He was a full-time driver and a manager for the first 6 months. From there he grew into LH with FedEx and spent time as a contractor for Amazon Logistics. In his words “The keys to our continued success have and always will be, take great care of your customers or someone else will, do it safely, and hire the best drivers in the industry!”
On the personal side, He has been married to Ruth for 33 years. They have 6 boys, 4 daughters-in-law, and 8 grandchildren. His entire family is very active in their church and communities. If he is not at work he is spending time with family, enjoying the outdoors, or playing pickleball.
Steve graduated High School Class of 82′. He started in the path of honoring his country by joining the US Army after H.S, serving SIX years. After serving his country as a Combat Engineer Driver, he signed up for National Truck & Trailor School and been serving the trucking industry for over thirty years. He moved from driver to Operations Manager within one year.
When he is not working, He enjoys time with his children and six grand kids. He has a love for boating and would call himself a sports enthusiast.
Tyler spent eight years in the supply chain industry, starting his career as a FedEx ground P&D Driver. He worked as a dispatcher, assistant manager, and site lead for Amazon P&D. After that he spent two years as an area manager at an Amazon Fulfilment center. The last year and a half, he has been in the role of director of fleet & safety with Blues City Carriers. He is also actively enlisted in the National Guard.
On the personal side, He has an amazing wife, Kennedy, and they have been married for 8 years. They have three kids, two dogs, and thirty plus chickens running around his coop in the back yard. He enjoys hanging out with family, lifting weights, mountain biking, and reading.
Kelly graduated from college with a degree in nursing (RN). Later in life she changed directions to work in transportation in various capacities such as credit assistant and marketing administrator for M.S. Carriers, accounting assistant for Go Trans & office manager for Ronzo Transportation. Kelly came to work for Adam’s previous company, JARS TD, as payroll coordinator in 2018 and stayed on with the opening of Blues City Carriers in 2020.
Kelly has a son and a daughter and 3 grandchildren that she enjoys spending time with, as well as her dog.
DJ received his B.S. degree in Electronics engineering, where there he excelled in the wireless industry from 2004 to 2015. He started his transportation journey in 2016 with Adam Robertson in Orlando, FL as Assistant Manager for Amazon P&D. He quickly moved into the role of Regional Director within two years.
On the personal side, He has a deep love for Florida as his family resides there. He enjoys mountain biking and BBQ. If you find yourself having a hard time locating him on weekends, he is most likely Bass fishing, in endless search of landing the 10lb’er that got away!!!
Jasmynn was born and raised in Memphis, TN. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Christian Brothers University. She is a member of the illustrious sorority Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. Jasmynn made her debut in transportation back in 2018. She enjoys traveling and experiencing new things, especially new food!
Brian has been working in the trucking industry for the past seven years after a twenty plus year career in Manufacturing. He started his career in trucking, driving over the road and gradually moving to a home daily job before coming to Blues City Carriers running a solo dedicated lane to Dallas. He was then able to move up into the Operations Manager Position with the company within two years.
When he is not working, He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and taking care of his fur babies (He has a lot). He considers himself easy-going, laid back, and full of life. He enjoys getting to know all the drivers and assisting them in any way he can to become a successful member of the team.
